Celebrity Cruises has launched a new series, The Tangerine Table, showcasing stories and achievements of officers and crew across the fleet.
On March 8, 2023, Celebrity Cruises debuted a new inspirational content series spotlighting a wide range of leaders and crew members across its fleet. Each ten-minute episode of The Tangerine Table will feature a small group of Celebrity officers or crew sharing their career journeys, the people and places that have inspired them along the way, and details about their lives at sea.
The content series name is a nod to the bold color of The Magic Carpet, Celebrity’s unique glass-roofed, moving platform featured on the brand’s Edge-class ships.
“Our extraordinary officers and crew are the real stars of Celebrity Cruises and it’s high time we shine a light on them and their life on the high seas,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises.
“This is an exciting avenue for them to share their stories and by doing so, inspire both our followers and the next generation of mariners along the way,” Lutoff-Perlo continued.
The first episode of The Tangerine Table celebrates International Women’s Day

The inaugural episode of the series honors International Women’s Day with several of the groundbreaking women aboard Celebrity Beyond, including
- Captain Kate McCue, the first and only American female captain of a cruise ship and the world’s most-followed mariner on social media

- Executive Pastry Chef Atziri Chavez, a Mexican-born master of the culinary arts who proudly boasts her well-deserved black scarf
