Celebrity is offering two “sneak peek” exclusive preview sailings on the new Celebrity Ascent ahead of her official maiden voyage.
Listen to this articleOn March 16, 2023, Celebrity Cruises announced that it’s giving travelers the chance to sample the brand’s “relaxed luxury” aboard Celebrity Ascent. The exclusive preview sailings will visit the Bahamas and the Caribbean before the ship’s official maiden voyage on December 3.
Preview sailings for Celebrity Ascent
The back-to-back preview sailings begin on November 22, 2023 with a four-night Western Caribbean itinerary roundtrip from Port Everglades. The itinerary takes guests to Cozumel, Mexico over the US Thanksgiving holiday.
Next is a three-night Bahamas cruise departing Port Everglades on November 26, 2023 and visiting Nassau, Bahamas.

Celebrity Ascent will be the next Edge class ship
The new Celebrity Ascent is the fourth of the cruise line’s Edge class ships, and is a twin sister to Celebrity Beyond.
The new ship was designed by a team of modern lifestyle icons including multi-award-winning British designer Kelly Hoppen, celebrated American designer Nate Berkus, Paris-based design firm Jouin Manku, British architect Tom Wright, and celebrity chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud.
What to expect aboard Celebrity Ascent
Cruisers sailing on the new Celebrity Ascent will be able to enjoy signature experiences found exclusively onboard Edge series ships, including:

The ship features a sprawling Nate Berkus-designed Sunset Bar, a Resort Deck with exclusive cabanas, infinity-edge plunge pools, and two-story martini-shaped hot tubs.
Ascent will boast more than 30 distinct food and drink venues, including the high-tech, immersive Le Petit Chef Dinner Experience, the Eden Restaurant with three-story floor-to-ceiling windows, and Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud featuring global-inspired cuisine.
Guest accommodations will include two-story Edge Villa staterooms with direct access to the exclusive suite-only The Retreat Sun Deck as well as Infinite Veranda staterooms that transform into open-air verandas.
