Galveston, Texas will be the new homeport of Carnival Legend for the winter 2025-2026 season.
Carnival Cruise Line has announced that in the fall of 2025, Carnival Legend will join Carnival Dream, Carnival Breeze, and Carnival Jubilee at the Port of Galveston and offer a selection of four- to ten-day Western Caribbean sailings as part of its 2025-26 deployment. Carnival Legend will also offer two Panama Canal cruises.
“Carnival Legend’s deployment in Galveston strengthens our already robust portfolio of sailings from Texas, adding more variety to the offered itineraries, as well as another ship choice, and more opportunities for cruises to Mexico and other Western Caribbean (locations) that fit any vacation length,” said Fred Stein, Carnival’s VP of revenue planning and deployment, in a press release.

Western Caribbean cruises aboard Carnival Legend
Carnival Legend will alternate between shorter and longer cruises from fall 2025 to spring 2026. Among the itineraries is a five-day sailing to Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.
Cozumel is one of Carnival’s most popular cruise ports, and eight four-day weekend getaways are also available on various departure dates.

Seven newly available 10-day itineraries will visit ports of call including Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Roatán, Belize, and Cozumel.
An eight-day Christmas sailing set for December 18, 2025 will stop at Roatán, Belize, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.

On February 2, 2026, a second 14-day Carnival Journeys cruise departing from Galveston will visit Montego Bay, Aruba, Curaçao, Cartagena, Colón, Limón, and Cozumel. There will also be three 10-day Panama Canal cruises during the 2025-2026 season, departing on October 27, December 8, and March 16.
