Crystal Announces 2025 World Cruise Aboard Crystal Serenity

Ultra-luxury cruise line Crystal has announced details about its 2025 World Cruise, sailing to 31 countries and 62 ports.

Crystal (formerly Crystal Cruises) has announced the 2025 World Cruise aboard Crystal Serenity will be open for booking on August 30, 2023. Sailing for 123 nights, the voyage includes visits to more than 31 countries, 62 ports, and 17 overnights.

The world cruise begins in Fort Lauderdale on January 7, 2025, and ends on May 10, 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.

Tour operators Abercrombie & Kent, Crystal’s sister company, will offer shore excursions, overlands, and pre- and post-tours for World Cruise guests.

“We are immensely proud to showcase our 2025 World Cruise itinerary as it illustrates Crystal’s deepened connection with Abercrombie & Kent for a truly authentic experience,” said A&K Travel Group CEO Cristina Levis.

“Guests will encounter the full potential between the two brands as we unveil a plethora of our custom-created activities that will be experienced first-hand by Crystal guests,” Levis continued.

Crystal’s 2025 World Cruise itinerary

The World Cruise begins at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and sails to Mexico, Belize, Honduras, and Colombia. Cruisers will transit the Panama Canal before sailing around South America’s western coast, stopping in Guayaquil, Lima, and Pisco.

The journey continues by visiting the magnificent Chilean fjords and stopping in Ushuaia, the gateway to Antarctica, before continuing north up South America’s coast to the vibrant festivities of the Rio Carnival. Then it’s on to St. Helena, one of the world’s most remote islands, with views of the spectacular coastlines of Namibia and South Africa.

The excitement of Africa follows, with a comprehensive itinerary in Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Kenya. Crystal Serenity will then travel east to the sandy shores of the Seychelles and Maldives before stopping in Sri Lanka and an overnight in Mumbai.

Sailing west, passengers will see the iconic Valley of Kings in Egypt and Jordan’s mystical city of Petra before arriving in Barcelona via the Italian coast.

Crystal World Cruise 2025 guests can expect welcome celebrations, gala dinners, and uniquely-themed onboard and shoreside events inspired by the vibrant locales they visit, such as:

  • Tango Through the Ages: Guests will journey through Argentina’s eras to witness the rise of the Argentinian Tango, one of the world’s most popular dance forms. Abercrombie & Kent will offer dedicated multi-day overland excursions (for an additional charge) ranging from the Galápagos Islands and Machu Picchu to a stay at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti and visits to the Taj Mahal and Ranthambore National Park, renowned for its beauty and wildlife.

  • Galápagos Islands: This action-packed experience begins with a short flight to the Galápagos Islands for an afternoon visiting land tortoises and sea lions.
