Hey there! I’m Carrie Ann, the blogger behind Should Be Cruising. I’m a lifelong travel fanatic and former flight attendant who actually used to be terrified of cruising. Really! You can read my story to find out what changed my mind.
Despite my initial fear, I fell in love with cruising on my very first voyage, and quickly realized that it’s the best way to travel. I now usually spend several months each year cruising and exploring ports of call around the world.
I started Should Be Cruising in 2018 to help cruisers learn how to get the most out of a cruise vacation. On my blog, I share cruise tips for both new and seasoned cruisers, the latest cruise news, ship reviews, and honest guides on the best things to do in port.
Are you planning on taking your first cruise soon? Maybe you’re a bit nervous (like I was) and you’re not sure what to expect? You’ve come to the right place! I have tons of tips and guides for you on my new cruisers page.
Be sure to also follow me on social media for all of my updates. I’m on Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter / X, and Threads.
When I’m not traveling, I’m usually at home in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, where my husband Brian (aka Mr. SBC) and I live with our rescue cat Mr. Cat (yes, we’re very creative with our pet naming) and a coop full of very spoiled and happy chickens.
I also care for an ever-growing collection of houseplants, especially my beloved 25-year-old Swedish ivy plant Charlie (and his numerous offspring).
When I’m at home, I also blog about houseplant care and home decor inspiration with plants at The Leafy Little Home.
