Celebration Key is the first port destination created specifically for Carnival Cruise Line passengers. The new port will be located at Sharp Rocks Point in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island.
Carnival Cruise Line invites guests to be the first to know about Celebration Key updates
As Carnival Cruise Line prepares to unveil details about Celebration Key, cruise fans can register to be the “first to know” about on-sale dates and special promotions.

“As the first cruise port destination being designed specifically for Carnival guests, we feel it’s important to invite them along for this special journey as we continue to work our way toward the opening of Celebration Key in July 2025,” said Carnival president Christine Duffy in a press release.

What we know so far about Celebration Key
According to the cruise line, Celebration Key will provide a uniquely Bahamian experience with a one-mile stretch of white sand beach, recreational and leisure facilities for both families and adults, shore excursions, and Bahamian-operated retail, food, and beverage options for Carnival guests to enjoy.
The destination’s adjacent cruise pier will be able to accommodate up to two of Carnival’s Excel-class ships at the same time, allowing guests to walk off the ship and arrive at Celebration Key.
According to a recent press release, Carnival plans to announce which ships will be among the first to visit Celebration Key and open the first itineraries for sale with scheduled visits to the exclusive destination.
